Chris, a second-generation motor mechanic with over 40 years of experience, has a diverse background in the automobile industry, including roles at Volvo and Mercedes-Benz dealerships. Growing up working with his father, Peter Watt, Chris's apprenticeship seemingly began at the age of five. Mentored by Larry Horn at LRH Automotive, he gained expertise in various areas, such as dyno tuning, carburetor rebuilding, and servicing Range Rovers, Volvos, and SAABs.
Chris, leveraging his father's engine building expertise, contributed to building some of the fastest Austin Healey engines in Australia. His effective communication aligns with values of honesty, integrity, and excellence. Recognizing the trust customers place in mechanics, Chris implemented processes in his business to ensure transparency about necessary services and repairs, acknowledging that customers may be surprised by additional needed attention during a service appointment.
